Claudia Ramona Moray

Lawyer. Architect. Director of Climate Change at the Asociación Iberoamericana de Derecho, Cultura y Ambiente (Ibero-American Association of Law, Culture and Environment)

Claudia Ramona Moray is a lawyer and architect specializing in Environmental Law, Smart Cities and Sustainability. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Universidad de Valladolid and teaches at university level, and she has a distinguished record in the defense of environmental rights and citizen participation in international forums. Since 2014 she has been accredited to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change, taking an active part in numerous COPs and in the implementation of the Escazú Agreement. She is Director General of the Argentine Node of the Comité Euroamericano de Derecho Digital (Euro-American Digital Law Committee) and Director of the Instituto de Derecho Ambiental (Environmental Law Institute) of the Colegio de Abogados de San Martín (San Martín Bar Association), and she also leads international relations at the Asociación Argentina de Justicia Constitucional (Argentine Association of Constitutional Justice). She has been recognized as a "Voice of the Planet" in environmental justice by the Climate Reality Project, and as an Ambassador of Peace by UNESCO and Mil Milenios de Paz. She is also the founder of the Red Ambiental Paraguaya (Paraguayan Environmental Network) and the author of books and articles in outlets such as Infobae, Harvard and Diario DPI, combining activism, critical thinking and deep professional work in law, sustainable architecture and human rights.
