Tribuna Atlántica is open to authors able to contribute knowledge, experience, judgement or a perspective of their own on questions that matter in the contemporary world. Of particular interest are texts that advance the understanding of a problem, that connect fields ordinarily studied in isolation, that bring in points of view seldom attended to, or that make a rigorous case for a position worth debating.

The editors review the profile before the first article is published and get in touch with you. It is not an automatic formality: we want to know who is behind the byline.

You publish
From then on you propose texts from your dashboard, follow their status and keep your public profile up to date.
There is room for analysis, for the essay, for reasoned opinion and for legal, political, economic, technological, historical, business, scientific, cultural or philosophical reflection, as well as for other forms of writing consistent with the nature of the publication. No single length applies to every article, nor is there any predetermined intellectual format. Form should answer to the content and to the depth that each subject demands.
Facts, data, documents, rulings, statistics, publications or the work of others that are relevant to the reasoning must be adequately identified. References may be incorporated through links, through mentions within the text itself, or by other means where the nature of the article makes that advisable.
The author remains responsible for whatever appears under their byline. The editors may propose adjustments to the title, structure, length, clarity, style or references, but any change that substantially affects the meaning of the text requires the author’s agreement before publication.
The use of artificial intelligence tools in support of research, documentation, review or drafting does not alter that responsibility. A byline implies that the author has reviewed the text and answers for its assertions, for the sources used and for the position expressed.
Texts previously published, translated or derived from earlier work may be considered where there is sufficient editorial reason to do so. In such cases the prior publication or version must be stated. Any conflicts of interest relevant to a proper reading of the article must likewise be disclosed.
Where it helps the understanding or the documentation of the work, supporting documents linked to the article may be included. Their publication is subject to the same requirements of authorship, provenance and review that apply to the main text.
Final acceptance of an article requires the author to confirm authorship, the legitimacy of the materials provided and the applicable conditions of publication.
Access and submission of contributions
Manuscripts are submitted through the contributors’ area of Tribuna Atlántica. Access is available through the identity providers enabled, such as Google and others available, or by registering with an email address.
The account serves to maintain the author’s profile, submit new texts and check the status of contributions already sent. On first sign-in, basic details must be completed and the conditions applying to the account, to the processing of personal data and to the editorial relationship with Tribuna Atlántica must be accepted.
Editorial or informational communications that are not necessary to manage the account or the contributions are handled separately and, where applicable, are subject to specific consent.
